IFH conference updates

IFH international conference in India postponed due to the political situation in Afghanistan. The new dates are April 15 and 16 2002. No changes to the scientific programme are expected.

On September 20, the IFH organised its first national symposium in Helsinki, Finland. The symposium was aimed at providing the latest evidence-based science on infection transmission in the domestic environment to Finnish hygiene professional active in hygiene policy development. Chair of the conference was Prof. Anna-Majia Sjöberg, from the
Department of Agricultural Engineering and Household Technology, University of Helsinki.
